BULLET-SMITH - v1.0.6 Update: Balance Patch

Hi, everyone! We’re excited to announce that the latest update for BULLET-SMITH is now live! Version 1.0.6 brings key balance adjustments to improve your gameplay experience.

CHANGES

  • Slightly Increased Loot Drop Rates: Based on player feedback, we’ve raised the drop rates slightly compared to the reductions in 1.0.5.
  • Mid-Boss Balance Adjustments: The mid-boss that appears in Round 6 had too much health, making it feel overly challenging. This has been adjusted to make the fight more manageable.

We’d love to hear what you think, so be sure to share your feedback! Thank you for your continued support! – The YAO!Games Team

I enjoyed the changes in this patch, thanks for considering my feedback!

However, I found a few bugs in this patch. I was recording a video to show that you can beat the game with just the shockwave combination (shockwave might be too strong lol), when I encountered a few strange bugs:

At the five minute point, the explosion effect starts sometimes snapping between affected enemies. This bug is somewhat consistent, occurring more often later in a run. At the eight and a half minute point, a material gets stuck in the crafting menu. This seems to just happen sometimes when placing a material anywhere, usually later in a run, maybe related to the explosion visual error (a memory management issue?).  Finally, while the material is stuck, the crafting menu begins consuming casings of the same type. I can't get this to happen again though, so maybe it's just part of the previous bug.

Hello! Thank you so much for your valuable feedback—it’s incredibly helpful!

The video you shared helped us clearly identify the issues. Shockwave is definitely looking incredibly powerful—it was designed as a damage-focused option, but we honestly didn’t expect it to be this strong. Thanks for pointing this out!

We’ll refine the areas you mentioned and work to ensure players can experiment with a wider range of strategies in the next update. Have a great day!

(From your insights, it seems like you have a keen interest in game development—am I right?)
